As you are aware it is now the period for our annual Thiruvizha. However due to Covid-19 pandemic , a decision has been made to conduct special abishekham and Pooja during from 12th without any visitors. Hopefully next year things will return to normal and we can look forward to holding our annual thiruvizha. We will keep you updated about the re opening of the temple to the public. History of the temple

Tamil people started their dissemination in England’s Northwest City of Liverpool in 1995.


In five years period, the population of Tamil people had increased marginally. During this period, the Tamil people had to travel about 250 miles South (London) to perform their religious duties and to attend cultural events and activities.

In 2003, few Tamil friends joined together and started a foundation named “Merseyside Tamil School”. Through the foundation, they started conducting Tamil Cultural events and Special Religious ceremonies by renting a space, wherever available, on an ad-hoc basis.
